COVID-19 Update from Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services

The world is facing an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). For current COVID updates, visit the dashboard by the World Health Organization on the Coronavirus disease.

At Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services, we believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our team, including their families, and our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions vigilantly, informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our Core Values.

We provide credentialing services that help healthcare providers get to work all over the nation, so our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients is also vital to our community at a time when our community needs healthcare providers. We are prepared to meet this challenge and have included some specifics about our strategy below.

COVID-19 Office staffing protocol

Starting Tuesday, March 17th, through April 6th, 2020, we will go to reduced staffing levels at our downtown Tulsa, OK, office. Everyone who can work from home will do so. We will rotate a small crew into the Tulsa office each day to help support the rest of the staff working remotely. Fortunately, at this time, we do not have a single team member or family member with any known exposure to COVID-19. We intend to do our part to keep it that way. We will extend this protocol beyond April 6th if necessary.

We recommend that you communicate as much as possible with us through email, as phones in the office may have fewer hands available to answer. We ask for patience as we adjust to the new working situation. However, know that our goal is to meet all your needs and understand the urgency of what we are doing for you now more than ever.

COVID-19 Update: Oklahoma-based clients, plan enrollment, Primoris Network:

We are trying to keep courier runs at a minimum for everyone’s protection, including yours. So please try to scan and email as many documents as possible rather than drop them into the courier. We understand some documents will require an original signature and will have a courier available when necessary.

COVID-19: Other Coronavirus response actions

We are trying to help mobilize providers to go wherever they are most needed.

For facilities that need to grant emergency or temporary privileges to care for coronavirus patients, we will provide the following services:

  • Free files within 24 hours on any provider we have processed through our CVO.
  • Files at our cost for providers not currently in our system.
  • We are currently testing our emergency portal that facilities will use to access files they have ordered and getting the word out through associations and state agencies.
